Nancy Clark

Nancy Clark

President and Co-Founder

Nancy Ellen Clark is a born New Yorker, moving to Orlando in the 50’s and spending her youth in the Conway area, where she even attended Boone High school.  In the late 60’s, Nancy traveled to Asia to live in Okinawa, Japan before returning to the US and calling Orlando her home. As an avid traveler, she has been throughout Europe, India, Asia, and Mexico where she developed her love of cultural diversity.

Nancy first became involved in the modeling scene in the 60’s,  as a Miss Orlando contestant, and later become the Assistant Fashion Coordinator for Maison Blanche, now Dillard’s. There she booked models for runway shows, live events, and coordinated fashion shows. Late in the 80’s, she became involved in the talent industry working with Azuree Talent for over twenty years.  Nancy has dedicated more than 35+ years to booking talent in the Central Florida area.

Finally, in 2011,  Nancy launched Clark Talent with the support of her husband John Clark and her daughter, Dr. Jenneffer Pulapaka. Since that time, she has provided her clients and talent an intimate setting of management that maximizes the clients’ needs with the top talent in Central Florida.

Under her guidance, Clark Talent has helped many people navigate the rules that apply to SAG and AFTRA unions, along with non-union jobs.  She loves to watch new talent start out with little or no experience and, with devotion and fortitude, develop them into the faces of Central Florida. So how does she make their dream a reality?

Nancy says, “the most essential key to everyone’s success is to fit the right talent, with their qualifications or skills, to the proper clients’ casting criteria.”

John Clark

John Clark

Co-Founder In Memoriam

We regret to announce the untimely death of our senior partner in November 2021. Mr. John Clark, who was one of the founders of this Agency and who took great pains in bringing it to its present position.

We celebrate his legacy.

Mr. John Clark came from multiple years of media and marketing experience throughout Kentucky.  John was an on-air television news anchor for both CBS and ABC television stations in Lexington for several years. Additionally, John also hosted a local morning television show called “Talk of The Town.”

Following his media days, John returned to his love of aviation, as a life-long dually licensed pilot of fixed-wing and helicopters. He was able to blend his two careers as a press secretary and private pilot to two former governors of Kentucky, Governors Wendall Ford and John Y. Brown. Interestingly, he also was the private pilot for Gov. Brown’s wife Phyllis George, a former Miss America.

After moving to Florida, John worked as a radio news anchor for WHOO-AM. Then later, he hosted several years of the live daily radio program for Orlando Business Radio, WBZS. During that time, he became the marketing manager for the Orlando Civic Theater and started working with a talent agency that covered the Greater Orlando area.  For the last 10 years, he blended his loves, as a coordinator at Clark Talent and a Cruise Host & Coordinator for the Disney Cruise Line. He has commanded that last position for 21 years until he retired in 2020.   John Clark helped his wife, Nancy Clark, open and elevate Clark Talent while providing a personalized level of attention in their representation until his passing on November 10, 2021. He will be deeply missed, but will not change our company’s commitment to serving our clients and talent.

“The preservation of health will not come from our Nation’s leaders. It begins in our homes, in our kitchens, with our family & friends. The success and survival of our health are dependent upon knowing our vulnerabilities, and out of that knowledge will come strength, if we learn the lessons presented.”
“We need to focus on prevention and away from reactionary sick care, like my current project SOKTEK.”
